Puppy Kindergarten

This fun-filled, educational class is designed for dogs over nine weeks of age. The purpose of this class is to build and improve your human/dog relationship by using positive reinforcement techniques. KETCH uses exciting and fun games that educate the dog by employing his natural instincts to our advantage. You will learn about your dog's behavior as well as proper dog care and handling techniques. KETCH's instructors will show you the correct use of toys and treats in training, as well as teach you to reinforce positive behavior. (We believe in preventative behavior modification.) We will address issues like housebreaking, chewing, barking, running away, mouthing, door running, jumping, pulling, chasers, etc. KETCH's Puppy Kindergarten will help you teach your dog to sit, down, come when called, wait, drop it, leave it, stay, loose leash walking, off, games, place, as well as an introduction to hand signals and off leash work. This class is very educational for the entire family, you will enjoy every minute of it! KETCH's Puppy Kindergarten is an hour long class, one day per week for six weeks. K-9 Control

This educational, fun class is for dogs over six months of age. It is designed to improve your human/dog relationship, to build a life-long bond and to gain control of your dog through positive management. You will learn how to shape your dog's behavior by breaking big tasks into smaller ones. KETCH will teach you educational games to play and how to use your dog's natural behavior to your advantage. Socialization is very important to our canine friends and social etiquette in public is important to us. We want you to gain control of your dog through positive management, before the dog gains control of you! You will learn about dog behavior- proper care as well as proper handling. We will address chewing, barking, running away, leave it, stay, loose leash walking, games, place, as well as an introduction to hand signals. This highly educational class is one hour long, one day per week for six weeks. Register early, class size in limited as we want our instructors to maximize the time spent with each student to ensure that you and your dog receive the best education possible.

K-9 Manners

This class is designed to improve your canine relationship while proofing your obedience commands with distractions, such as wheelchairs, other dogs, noises, etc. This class will also upgrade your hand signals. This class allows for owners to relax and enjoy the interaction with other people of like interest. With skills taught in this class, your dog can earn their Canine Good Citizen, an official certificate from the American Kennel Club. A trainer dog is a happy dog. The K-9 Manners class is one day a week for six weeks. A K-9 control or puppy class is recommended before enrolling in K-9 Manners.
